ITB-Untar-UI-NUS Collaborative Program: Startup Ecosystem Exposure (SEE) Indonesia

Bandung, dkst.itb.ac.id – The Startup Ecosystem Exposure (SEE) Indonesia Program Scheme offers an experience for 30 ITB undergraduate students (along with a total of 200 other Indonesian and Singaporean students) to directly experience the dynamics of the startup ecosystem in Indonesia. During the period of January 5-12, 2025, selected participants will have the opportunity to meet startup founders, learn from leading innovators, and explore the entrepreneurial environment in Jakarta and Bandung.

  • Include a recommendation letter from the faculty
  • Create a 2-minute video explaining your interest in this program and how the experience will be utilized for self-development

About the SEE Indonesia Program

Startup Ecosystem Exposure (SEE) is the result of a collaboration among the National University of Singapore (NUS) Enterprise, the Tarumanagara Foundation, the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), and the University of Indonesia (UI). This program is designed to provide in-depth insights into the startup and innovation ecosystem in Indonesia. For one week, participants will explore the entrepreneurial environment in Jakarta and Bandung through practical projects, mentoring, and discussions with innovators and startup founders.

Program Agenda:

  • Networking: Opportunities to meet directly with startup founders, industry leaders, and fellow entrepreneurs, expanding professional connections.
  • Practical Experience: Involvement in a Hackathon, team projects, and workshops focusing on entrepreneurial skills.
  • Skill Development: Practical training in business model innovation, pitching, storytelling, and team collaboration.
  • Cultural Exposure: Understanding the dynamics of Indonesian culture in an entrepreneurial context.

Program Schedule:

  1. Day 1 (Jakarta): Orientation and team-building activities, including Indonesian language classes and cooking challenges to strengthen teamwork.
  2. Day 2 (Jakarta): Introduction to the Indonesian and ASEAN startup ecosystems, team formation, and visits to startup hubs.
  3. Day 3 (Jakarta): Workshops on business model innovation, pitching, and storytelling, followed by the opening ceremony.
  4. Day 4 (Bandung): Panel discussions with ITB alumni and local cultural experiences.
  5. Day 5 (Bandung): Visit to Cikole Forest to learn about technological innovations with local startups.
  6. Day 6 (Jakarta): Mentoring sessions to refine ideas and prepare presentations.
  7. Day 7 (Jakarta): Demo Day and closing.
  8. Day 8 (Jakarta): Free time and preparation for departure.
