Open Registration for PRIME STeP 2026 Startup Incubation & Acceleration

Bandung, dkst.itb.ac.id – The PRIMESTeP Startup Incubation and Acceleration Program is an initiative designed to support startup teams, particularly from the ITB academic community and alumni, in developing competitive, technology-based products that meet market needs. This program is aimed at innovative solutions with a Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of 7–9.

A golden opportunity to develop startups based on ITB innovation. Through this program, selected startups will have the chance to obtain:

• Funding
• Access to experienced mentors
• ITB innovation ecosystem network
• Full support for business scale-up
  

This program is exclusively for ITB Startups through the Incubation & Acceleration schemes.
Startup Incubation Program

Objective: To build market-ready research startups

Target Output:

• Business model validation
• Early customer acquisition
• Legality & product permits
• Intensive mentoring

Participant Requirements:

• Technology products with TRL ≥ 7
• Startup age between 6 months to 5 years
• Preference given to founders from the ITB academic community (lecturers / educational staff / students / alumni)
• Not currently receiving other funding for the same financing components

Startup Acceleration Program

Objective: To drive business expansion and sustainability

Target Output: 

1st Cycle: Business validation and production increase

2nd Cycle: Market strategy and business growth

1st Cycle Participant Requirements:

• Maximum startup age of 7 years.
• Must already have a legal entity and complete legality.
• Preference given to founders from the ITB academic community (lecturers / educational staff / students / alumni)
• Must already have early customers with good retention.
• The product must possess functional features, preferably certified or holding a distribution license.
• Not currently receiving other funding for the same financing components

2nd Cycle Participant Requirements:

• Must have consistent or increasing market demand.
• The product's selling price must be competitive and validated in the market.
• Must have a feasible gross margin.
• Must already have a clear and implemented supply chain matrix.
