Open Call for Proposals for Innovation Development PRIMESTeP Batch II 2026

In order to encourage the downstreaming of research results and strengthen the innovation ecosystem at the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), ITB is opening proposal registrations for the Innovation Development under the Promoting Research and Innovation through Modern and Efficient Science and Technology Parks (PRIME STeP) Program 2026 Batch 2.

The PRIME STeP Program is an innovative research funding program supported by the Asian Development Bank (ADB), focusing on strengthening Science and Technology Areas and accelerating the commercialization of research results. In 2026, this program targets the emergence of market-ready innovative products with a Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of 9, supported by the utilization of Intellectual Property and strategic collaboration with industrial partners.

The scheme opened for the batch 2 proposal submission is the Technology Enhancement Scheme. This scheme is intended for technology upgrading with reference to increasing the TRL, starting from an initial TRL Level of 6, with a maximum funding amount of IDR 500,000,000.00 (Five Hundred Million Rupiah).
