Ministry of Communication and Digital Visit to DKST: Encouraging Collaboration Between Founders & Researchers to Build Innovative Startups

Bandung, dkst.itb.ac.id – The Directorate of Science and Technology Area (DKST) ITB received a visit from the Ministry of Communication and Digital (Kemenkomdigi) on April 1, 2026, to the ITB Innovation Park Summarecon.

This visit carried a main mission to bring together business founders and researchers from the Bandung Institute of Technology to encourage the birth of technology- and research-based startups.

Representatives from the Ministry of Communication and Digital stated that cross-sector collaboration is key to building a sustainable startup ecosystem. By connecting the university's research strengths with the business expertise of founders, it is expected that innovations will be created that are not only technologically relevant but also possess strong economic value, certainly through incubation and acceleration stages.

Through this collaboration, it is hoped that more innovative startups based on campus innovation will be born, capable of addressing future challenges and contributing to Indonesia's economic growth.
