ITB and Leave a Nest Malaysia Agree on a Strategic Collaboration in the Academic and Industrial Fields
Bandung, lpik.itb.ac.id – On Wednesday (7/17), located at Malaga Restaurant, Bandung, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing agenda was held between Leave a Nest Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. and Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), represented by LPIK ITB. This event marks the beginning of a strategic collaboration in the fields of academic and industrial collaboration. The signing of this MoU document was carried out directly by Nur Ahmad Zaim bin Hussin, as the Director of Leave a Nest, and witnessed by Dr. Irwan Gumilar along with relevant teams from both LPIK ITB and Leave a Nest.
This collaboration encompasses various important initiatives aimed at enhancing the academic and industrial capacities of both parties. The programs to be implemented include training programs, both degree and non-degree, research collaborations in areas of mutual interest, as well as the exchange of academic materials and scholars to improve the quality of education and research at both institutions.
In addition, this cooperation will also encourage the organization of seminars, workshops, and other cooperative academic meetings aimed at sharing knowledge and strengthening networks among researchers and academics. Through these activities, it is hoped that a closer synergy will be created between ITB and Leave a Nest in overcoming various academic and industrial challenges.
Another important point in this MoU is the support for ITB in developing researchers and startups to commercialize the products of the campus's research and development (R&D). With this support, ITB is expected to be able to produce innovations that are not only academically superior but also have high commercial value, thereby making a tangible contribution to the wider community.
According to Nur Ahmad Zaim bin Hussin, Director of Leave a Nest Malaysia, this collaboration is a strategic step that will open many new opportunities for both institutions. "We are very enthusiastic about this collaboration and hope to create many innovations and joint progress in the future," he said.
Dr. Irwan Gumilar also expressed his optimism about this partnership. According to him, the collaboration with Leave a Nest will be very beneficial for ITB, especially in expanding its international network and strengthening ITB's research capabilities and innovation development. This cooperation is expected to serve as a model for similar collaborations in the future, strengthening the relationship between Malaysia and Indonesia in the academic and industrial fields.
