Bandung Startup Pitching Day June 2026: Impactful Innovation and a Sustainable Future

Bandung, dkst.itb.ac.id – Bandung, June 24, 2026 – Bandung Startup Pitching Day (BSPD) was held once again at the Freeport Building of SBM ITB, bringing together early-stage startups with dozens of domestic and foreign investors. This 13th event was initiated by five startup ecosystem drivers in Bandung, namely The Greater Hub SBM ITB, the Directorate of Science and Technology Park (DKST) ITB, Geek Hunter, Startup Bandung, and BLOCK71 Bandung.

The event was opened by Dr. rer. pol. Eko Agus Prasetio, S.T., MBA., Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of SBM ITB, Melia Famiola, S.T.P., M.T., Ph.D., Deputy Director for Regional Business Development of DKST ITB, and Dr. Dina Dellyana as the Chief Executive.

In his remarks, Dr. Eko highlighted the rapid development of the startup ecosystem in Indonesia and the importance of innovation-based education support in driving the birth of future entrepreneurs. He emphasized that SBM ITB, as a business school, has a commitment to producing entrepreneurs who are not only capable of building sustainable businesses but also presenting solutions to various challenges in society.

"As a business school, SBM ITB is committed to creating entrepreneurs who are not only capable of building businesses but also presenting solutions to various challenges in society. Through the Bandung Startup Pitching Day, we hope that founders can get the best opportunities to interact directly with investors, venture capitals, mentors, and industry players. Hopefully, this forum becomes a useful space to gain insights, build networks, and open up collaboration opportunities that can support startup growth to the next stage," he expressed.

Dr. Dina emphasized the role of BSPD as an event that bridges the startup incubation process with industry needs. "University and community incubators are quite agile in mentoring startups. Through BSPD, we gain direct insights from investors and VCs. This serves as a reminder for us to continuously adjust our curriculum and programs so that our fostered startups are ready to grow and remain relevant in the market," she explained.

Melia Famiola, S.T.P., M.T., Ph.D., Deputy Director for Regional Business Development of DKST ITB, added that BSPD serves as a collaboration space that brings innovation and opportunities together. "Startups need more than just a good idea. Access to networks, mentoring, and capital is an important factor for innovation to develop into solutions that provide a real impact. Therefore, DKST ITB continues to strengthen the synergy between academics, industry, investors, and the startup community to accelerate the birth of sustainable and competitive innovations," she stated. This commitment is also realized through the PRIMESTeP (Prototype and Market Entry Startup Technology Program) Funding Program, an initiative by DKST ITB designed to support startup teams, especially those from the ITB academic community and alumni, in developing technology-based products until they are ready to enter the market. This program focuses on startups with a Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of 7–9 that already have a mature prototype and need support for market validation, product development, and commercialization readiness improvement. Through funding, mentoring, and strengthening networks with both industry and investors, PRIMESTeP becomes one of the strategic instruments that complements the startup incubation and acceleration programs at DKST ITB, ensuring that research-based innovations can develop into competitive, sustainable solutions that provide a real impact on society.

This spirit of collaboration is reflected in the participation of startups joining BSPD 2026. This year, a total of 21 selected startups from various sectors presented their innovations to investors through pitching and discussion sessions. The participating startups include Aleya, ADACareer, Agroboot, Batari Energy, Caraku Academy, COFRE, Concorde Systems, Distrova, Garapdata, Glowhub, HeyAI, KILATSOON, Mantis Agritech, Navigasee, NutriAI, SocialPet.ID, Titik0, Tofly, WearaTech, Welo Hub, dan Zyx Academy.

Besides the main pitching session, BSPD 2026 also presented the Artha Investor Speed Dating, an exclusive networking and matchmaking session that brought early-stage startup founders together with investors in a more personal and directed discussion format. Through this session, ten selected startups got the opportunity to dialogue directly with investors to gain strategic insights, expand business exposure, and build connections that could potentially open up funding or collaboration opportunities in the future.

The startups selected to participate in this year's Artha Investor Speed Dating are Flame Street, MilkyButter Bakehouse, Saiba Donburi, Ezwift Research & Technology, Tanabur, Migimo, Sustainesia, ARAMAYA, Natannce Corporation, and Focuzen. The presence of this session further strengthens BSPD's commitment as a platform that not only provides a stage for startups to present their innovations but also facilitates deeper interactions with investment ecosystem players.

The startups selected to participate in this year's Artha Investor Speed Dating are Flame Street, MilkyButter Bakehouse, Saiba Donburi, Ezwift Research & Technology, Tanabur, Migimo, Sustainesia, ARAMAYA, Natannce Corporation, and Focuzen. The presence of this session further strengthens BSPD's commitment as a platform that not only provides a stage for startups to present their innovations but also facilitates deeper interactions with investment ecosystem players.

The interactions built during the Artha Investor Speed Dating session resulted in various strategic insights for the founders while serving as a space to explore investment opportunities. As a form of appreciation, investors also chose the three best startups based on business potential, development readiness, and investment attractiveness. Flame Street Indonesia successfully secured first place, followed by Tanabur in second place, and Natannce Corporation in third place.

In addition to bringing startups together with investors and industry players, BSPD 2026 also gave appreciation to startups that showed the best performance and potential during the series of activities. As a form of award, the 13th BSPD presented four appreciation categories: The Most Innovation, The Best Pitch, The Most Impactful, and The Most Marketable. This year, KILATSOON, TOFLY, WearaTech, and Batari Energy successfully won these awards for the innovation, presentation quality, impact potential, and business development opportunities demonstrated during the event. This collaboration is also part of the startup development ecosystem built by DKST ITB through various incubation, acceleration, and funding programs such as PRIMESTeP, ensuring that startups not only gain access to investors but also continuous support to accelerate technological development, market validation, and innovation commercialization. Going forward, BSPD is expected to continue to act as a catalyst for the development of the innovation ecosystem while strengthening Bandung's position as one of the leading entrepreneurship and technology centers in Indonesia.
